If the joint and adjacent beads are excessively worn, they must be replaced in time. Timely replacement of joints can avoid accidents caused by sudden breakage of wire ropes and reduce downtime. For wire ropes for cutting marble, the joints should be replaced once every 50 square meters of the cutting area. When the beads of the plastic or rubber wire rope are loose relative to the steel wire rope, if the number of loose beads is not large and the distance from each other is not far, it is best to cut off the part of the wire rope where the loose wire rope is long enough for the effective use of the wire rope, and then reconnect the good wire rope to use. If the loose beads are scattered on the whole wire saw, you can break the loose beads, and then wrap the exposed wire rope with waterproof tape. Or cut the wire saw from the loose part of the beading, remove the loose beading, connect the wire rope with a connector and continue to use it. If the beads of the plastic or rubber wire saw show elliptical wear, it indicates that the wire rope has not been able to spin during the cutting process. If the ovality of the bead string is slight, it is necessary to stop the machine to check the spin condition of the wire saw, find the cause of the oval wear of the wire saw, and adjust the process parameters such as the feed speed of the wire saw, so as to restore the wire saw to a normal cylindrical shape. However, when the ovality of the beads is serious, the cutting and use of the wire rope must be stopped immediately, the cause of the ovality of the beads must be found, and the repair plan of the wire rope must be studied.
