We know that in the process of mining mines, diamond wire saws have incomparable advantages over traditional mining methods, but diamond wire saws are a relatively fragile and vulnerable system. As an endless chain, the weakest link must be made as much as possible. Intensified, the reliability of diamond wire saws is a huge problem. The damage of the wire saw will lead to the failure of the entire tool, or greatly reduce its life, which has a great impact on the design of the tool and the production of the diamond wire saw. Below, we will briefly introduce to you the common problems of diamond wire saws in the use process, and hope to help you.
The most common problems of diamond wire saws:
1. Saw wire breaks Saw wire breaks, usually because the wrong application parameters are used or the quality of the saw rope is too poor, which means that the bond between the plastic/rubber and the diamond beads is not strong, which causes the cuttings to enter the diamond saw wire. Soon magma or cuttings partly contacted and rubbed the steel rope between the beaded steel body and the steel rope, and the connecting thread of the steel rope began to break. This may also be due to the wrong use of the bonding agent. The wire rope fracture may also be caused by the wrong selection of wire rope, beaded steel body, and poor heat treatment after injection molding.
2. The wire saw cannot be cut and used most often is the incorrect selection of diamonds (often selected too good diamonds), carcass, bead spacing, mold design or wrong application parameters. For example, if we choose too high diamond density or too good diamond, its sawing performance is not very good. The diamond will not be easily broken, making it difficult to produce a new sharp edge.
3. Inadequate combination of beads. Loose or weak combination of beads is usually a signal of problems during injection molding. It may also be caused by improper selection of steel wire rope, or contamination of the diamond beads and improper cleaning, which will result in a weak bond between the beads and the injection/injection rubber.
4. Bead peeling If the bead cutting layer part peels off from the bead steel body, it is usually because of improper selection of carcass or wrong sintering parameters. Usually, incorrect cold pressing process is also the cause of spalling. Sometimes, due to improper dewaxing process, paraffin infiltrates between the metal carcass and the beaded steel body. Sometimes the problem is also related to improper cleaning of the beaded steel body.
The above are the four common problems in the use of diamond wire saws. I hope everyone can understand the performance characteristics of diamond wire saws before using them, so that they can use it better.
