If a new wire rope or a wire rope with a certain life is used to see the last connection surface, encountering such an accident will make the whole or most of the wire rope scrapped, resulting in unnecessary economic losses. Therefore, in the final cutting stage, even in such an accident, the economic loss caused by the use of the wire rope that is about to be scrapped is small or limited. Depending on the situation, the timing of replacement is generally during horizontal sawing. When the distance between the wire rope entering and leaving the saw seam is reduced to 1.5-2.5m, replace the wire rope in use with a nearly scrapped wire rope and continue mining. This same old rope-for-new rope operation is also required in the final stages of cutting vertical planes or disintegrating and reshaping cutting.
