There are three types of segment shape structures that are commonly used in industrial production: general-purpose segments, sandwich segments, and stepped segments. Whether it is a large or small diameter circular saw blade or a gang saw blade, the most commonly used segment shape is the general segment. The cross-sectional shape of the general-purpose segment is rectangular. After a period of use, the right angles of the two sides of the segment are gradually worn away, and the cross-section becomes an arc surface, that is a right-angled side becomes an arc. The longer the use time, the more obvious the deformation. After the cutting edge of the segment is arc-shaped, the contact area with the stone is increased, the cutting resistance increases, and the diamond cannot obtain enough cutting force, which reduces the cutting efficiency. Cutting in this state brings two major problems:1. Diamond is easy to blunt, because, after the cutting resistance increases, the diamond cannot penetrate deeply into the rock, but acts on the rock in the form of grinding, making the diamond blade angle blunt. If it goes on like this, the cutting efficiency will drop too much, and you have to stop cutting and sharpen the saw blade with a sharpening tool. 2. Because diamond is easy to blunt, in order to keep the efficiency of the blunt saw blade undiminished, the operator adopts the method of increasing the sawing pressure, causing the saw blade to deviate, causing the saw blade substrate to vibrate, heat and deform, so that the processed plate The thickness is not uniform, the saw blade base is deformed, which affects the number of re-weldings, and what is more, the saw blade base will crack from the bottom of the nozzle. The advantages of this form of the segment are that it is easy to manufacture and has a long service life, and is suitable for general marble and soft granite processing. Therefore, it is still the most commonly used nodal shape structure.
