Description

The manufacturing process of Wire Diamond Saw beads is sintering method. The manufacturing process of sintered beads and the selected binder metal are very similar to the hot pressed sintered diamond segment. It is a new type of bead production technology which is improved on the basic of impregnated bead production technology. This production process directly cold presses diamond particles and copper, nickel, cobalt, manganese and other binder metal powders into a sintered ring, in a gas protection environment, simultaneously heat and pressurize at a temperature lower than 1000 degrees Celsius, the binder metal is extruded in the molten state and tightly combined with the diamond particles to form the beads. Because the hot pressing sintering process with low-temperature gas protection is used to manufacture the sintered beads, there is no oxygen in the sintering environment during the whole hot-pressing process, which prevents the bonding agent from being oxidized. Due to the low solubility of other metal powders to carbon, the possibility of carbonization of diamond particles in sintering process is prevented. By taking effective control measures of low temperature and low pressure process parameters, the temperature and pressure of hot pressing can be adjusted to the lowest appropriate value as possible, so as to eliminate the damage of hot pressing process to the physical and chemical properties of diamond. In this way, you can maintain the firmness of matrix and also can not affect the strength of diamond. When using sintered wire saw, also must ensure and adequate supply of cooling water.
