With the development of laser technology, laser welding has been widely used in saw blade welding at home and abroad. Laser processing is an emerging technology industry and has now become one of the important production technologies for product quality, production efficiency and automation. Laser welding has the advantages of high energy density, high welding seam aspect ratio, small deformation and thermal stress area, reliable welding seam quality, and easy automation. Therefore, it is one of the high-tech operations of saw blade welding. It is especially used for dry cutting saw blades, and its welding joints will not lose teeth due to high cutting temperature. Foreign dry cutting saw blades and some small saw blades have been laser welded. With the increase of laser equipment power (or energy), laser welding of large saw blades will also be put into practical use in the near future. Although the price of laser welding equipment is high, its welding unit cost is only about 50% of that of high-frequency welding.
